Alexandra and Stephanie met almost 20 years ago working in the restaurant business.  Their relationship was grounded on a shared enthusiasm for festive events and a love of good food.  It was always a dream of theirs to  build a business based on those things they loved most and to successfully provide those services for others.

Alexandra studied and pursued a career in eyecare services.  She eventually became an Optician, and worked as a General Manager for one of the country’s largest optical corporations ~ all the while keeping one foot in the Food & Beverage Industry.  In conjunction with her optical career, Alexandra worked part-time for almost 20 years with various successful local restaurateurs and chefs.  This allowed Alexandra to follow her passions with food while working full-time.  Eventually, these paths led her entrepreneurial spirit to begin her own business as a personal chef.  Hence, AppetizingAlexandra was born.  Providing personal chef services for private as well as professional events, Alexandra enjoyed the world as an independent business owner.

Stephanie pursued a career in marketing, business promotion and management.  Throughout her career as an office manager for a large and very prosperous orthodontic practice, she created successful marketing strategies in a competitive environment; organized fundraisers; and planned events both large and small.  Understanding the power of food, she utilized sweet treats as well as savory delectables, which were used for marketing promotions, referral thank-you’s, lunch and learns and customer and staff appreciation.  Her creativity paid off as the practice grew.  Fifteen years and a baby later, Stephanie decided it was time to leave the 50 hour work week behind and started her own business as an Independent Kitchen Consultant with The Pampered Chefâ." Stephanie presented hundreds of “live” cooking shows and classes in people’s homes, and was able to teach people how to make their meal preparation easier and their food tastier and healthier.  The fine art of professional results!

When A Tasteful Event’s partnership started, Alexandra had just celebrated her second year with AppetizingAlexandra, and Stephanie her fifth anniversary with The Pampered Chefâ.    Driven by the idea that they could create something really unique together, they decided to join forces and start their very own business.  Together, Alexandra and Stephanie are A Tasteful Event!
